A huge thank you goes out to everyone at CMHS that participated in the Denise Graney Memorial Breast Cancer Walk on Friday, October 13, 2023. There was a great turnout despite the weather with 50 students and 20 staff doing 10 laps around the building (inside, of course). The event raised $5,123.40 for the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides research grants to teams looking for new therapies and cures. Ms. Graney would be proud!
The Crete-Monee Football team also hosted their Pink Out game on Friday, October 13, 2023 to recognize the many women and men who have been impacted by breast cancer and to raise awareness!
This year’s Pink Out game was in honor of Denise Graney. Her legacy lives on through the number of lives she touched as an educator.
