About Us

Crete-Monee High School is a comprehensive four-year high school with students from the villages of Crete, Monee, University Park, and Park Forest. Our mission is to educate students to be critical thinkers and active learners, to challenge students to fulfill their potential, and to prepare students to contribute positively to society. Our student body represents a wide range of social, cultural, and religious backgrounds. This diversity has helped to create a well-blended school environment that is strengthened by a rigorous curriculum and a variety of learning opportunities to help students better prepare for success after high school.

A Message from Principal Triche

Dear Warrior Families: Welcome to the 2019 school year! I hope you enjoyed your winter break with your student, creating memories with your loved ones.

Personally, I am grateful and elated to continue this journey with you as your Principal. Over the past year, I have had a chance to meet many of you and your students, and look forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with all of you in the upcoming year. As we enter the second half of the school year, I want to let you know that our staff will be engaging in conversations around having a growth mindset, and building relationships both for themselves and all students. We believe that every person in this building should always be growing and learning. Despite obstacles that may arise, we must always believe in our ability to rise above challenges and come out stronger on the other end. I want to thank our school families and our community for your continued support. It is always with your help that our students thrive with increasing test scores, reduced behavior incidents, and a positive school climate and reinforcing our no cell phone policy. If you have a few moments, please feel free to complete the 5 Essentials Survey using the link provided for you. Your responses will assist us in planning for our  Future Ready students. http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/.
