The students in Mrs. Halfeldt and Mrs. Mitchell's Transition Program had a wonderful time at Plum Creek Nature Center. They spent the day exploring the forest and learning how to keep the environment healthy and thriving. They worked on cutting down dead branches and bushes which encourages new growth in the Spring. Not only were they busy learning about the forest, they had a lot of fun eating lunch and enjoying the last day of Summer. It was a great day!
