CMHS Student Competes in Chinese Speech Contest

Saturday, May 4, CMHS junior Vincent Carra participated in the 12th Annual Midwest Chinese Bridge High School Student Speech Contest. He is the first CMHS student to compete on this stage. This event was hosted by the Confucius institute of Valparaiso University. More the 35 Students from nine midwestern states participated in the contest. Students demonstrated the results of their study of Chinese, and connected with other Chinese language students from around the region. After this trip, Vincent said he want to go again next year and try to achieve a better grade. Congratulations to Vincent Carra, and thank you to Mr. Yu for making it possible.
