Letter to the CMHS Senior Class

Dear Class of 2020 & Warrior Families,

Poet Maya Angelou said, “You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”

While COVID-19 has resulted in the closure of schools throughout the state and around the country, no group of students has been more impacted by this crisis than you, our high school seniors. I understand that right now you may be feeling a tremendous sense of loss, frustration, and uncertainty at what should be the most exciting time of your life.  Read more...

 

ABOUT US

Crete-Monee High School is a comprehensive four-year high school with students from the villages of Crete, Monee, University Park, and Park Forest. Our mission is to educate students to be critical thinkers and active learners, to challenge students to fulfill their potential, and to prepare students to contribute positively to society. Our student body represents a wide range of social, cultural, and religious backgrounds. This diversity has helped to create a well-blended school environment that is strengthened by a rigorous curriculum and a variety of learning opportunities to help students better prepare for success after high school.
