Science Department

Teacher Leader: Ms. Carolyn Ross, [email protected]

The Science Department's mission is to inspire students to explore and investigate the ever changing world that surrounds them. This is accomplished by:

  • asking questions
  • collecting and analyzing data
  • thinking critically and analytically
  • solving problems through trial and error
  • using technology
  • researching and keeping current with science literature

It is our goal to develop problem-solvers and to excite students about science.

The Science Department offers curriculum designed to provide rigorous, hands-on opportunities that allow students to make connections between the sciences and the real world.
