Several students from Crete-Monee High School, who are part of the Emerging Leaders Civic Engagement Program, were honored to attend the Monee Township Board meeting as special guests. Each student had the opportunity to deliver a formal speech, which we collaboratively prepared. In their speeches, they shared their platforms, passions, and the issues they aim to tackle through the Civic Engagement Program. The students in attendance—Malachi Cliff, Hala Ghaben, Terrell Henderson, Amiyah Rice, and Ralph Mallory—truly impressed everyone with their eloquence, professionalism, and poise. It was a privilege to witness the powerful impact of this inspiring initiative.
