On March 6, Romance was celebrated at a special awards dinner at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest. The event was beautiful, bringing together peers, educators, and supporters to recognize Romance's hard work and perseverance. Romance earned the Infinitec Outstanding Student Technology Award for successfully learning to use a speech-generating alternative communication device. This technology has allowed him to overcome communication challenges and connect more effectively with others. His ability to adapt and thrive in the face of obstacles is truly inspiring, and his accomplishment serves as a reminder of the power of technology to change lives.
Beyond his technological achievements, Romance is also an exceptional athlete, participating in the Special Olympics, and is known for being a kind and supportive friend to his classmates. His positive attitude and determination make him a role model for everyone around him.
