On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Crete-Monee High School proudly celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its annual Senior Scholarship Night. This special event recognized the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of our graduating seniors as they prepare to take the next steps in their academic and career journeys.
Throughout the evening, students were honored for the many scholarships and awards they have earned, reflecting four years of hard work and commitment. In total, more than $987,415 in scholarships was awarded by a wide range of generous community organizations and scholarship foundations. In addition to the scholarships presented that evening, many students were also recognized for the awards they had received throughout the school year.
A highlight of the ceremony was special recognition for students participating in the Gloria J. Taylor Foundation and the Prairie State Early College Institute, who were presented with honor cords to wear at graduation. These distinctions celebrate students who have gone above and beyond in their academic pursuits and college readiness efforts.
Crete-Monee High School extends its sincere gratitude to the many community partners whose continued support makes these opportunities possible. Their investment in our students plays a vital role in helping them achieve their goals and pursue bright futures beyond high school.
