We are excited to announce that two exceptionally talented Crete-Monee High School band students, Rafe Stumbris and Taylor Stua, have been honored with the opportunity to perform as guest musicians at the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) Youth Concert, “Harmony and Hogwarts,” on May 5, 2026, at Governors State University Center for Performing Arts.

This selection recognizes their exceptional talent and dedication, as well as the leadership and musicianship they bring to our school and the broader community.

The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra concert brings together some of the most talented student musicians in our community to perform alongside the professional musicians of IPO in this extraordinary production. These students will take part in an unforgettable experience, sharing their talents with an audience eager to explore the magic of orchestral music. They will also receive an award in recognition of their contributions.

Congratulations to Rafe Stumbris and Taylor Stua!
