The main staircase at Crete-Monee High School got a face lift this week. Thank you to CMHS Warrior Boosters for their generous donation to fund our motivating staircase murals. Working with Sue Giannantonio, a long-standing member of the Warrior Athletic Boosters and a CMHS Softball Coach Hall of Fame recipient was inspiring and enjoyable. The idea behind the stairway design was to create opportunities for academic improvement and create a sense of pride for students, teachers, parents, and our communities. We wanted to be able to define who we are and clearly communicate that definition to everyone sending the message about creating excellence through our mission and what we stand for. The end result in mind was to reinforce and remind the students and school community of their immediate and future goals.
