ATHLETIC/ACTIVITY RESULTS:

GUIDANCE/SIGN UP/REGISTER/TRY OUT:

The Joliet South Suburban Chapter, Delta Sigma Beta, has a scholarship application that is open, due March 13th. If you need an application, stop by the Guidance office.

Attention Juniors - the CMHS counselors will be taking up to 35 juniors on a field trip to Moraine Valley Community College for a national college fair on Thursday, March 12. The fair will host between 50 and 150 colleges and universities from across the country. To be eligible for the trip, juniors must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Sign up is available on the front desk in the guidance office.

Any JR or SR interested in Nursing, Exercise Science or Biology is invited to attend the field trip to Trinity Christian College on 3.19.20.  Please see Ms. Burketh for a permission slip.  You must have a 3.0 GPA to attend.  Space is limited and you must turn in your completed permission slip by Friday, 3.13.20.

The GSU After School Program will be going to Governors State Univ. for a conference on March 20, 2020. Lunch will be provided. Permission slips are located in the front office and should be returned by March 19, 2020.

Hey Warriors! Students interested in taking the Military Entrance exam, also known as the ASVAB, should sign up for the test in Guidance. The ASVAB test will be given on March 17th during 1st-3rd periods. 

Juniors and Seniors can sign up for the following college visits in the Guidance Office.  Juniors are allowed 4 per year and Seniors are allowed 2.  You must write your 1st hour room number in order to receive a pass. Coming Mar. 19th, Central College at 9:15 a.m.; March 24th, Air Force at 9:15 a.m.; April 7th, Chicago State Univ. at 9:15 a.m.

The Will County Clerk, Lauren Staley Ferry, is seeking students to apply to be an Election Judge for the upcoming General Primary on March 17, 2020.  They will be training through the end of February.  The student must have a 3.0 G.P.A. on a scale of 4.0, a junior or senior and approval from the parent, teacher, and principal.  For information please stop by the front office. 

MEETINGS:

Do you need additional support in an AP class?  AP ambassadors will meet in small groups to study every Monday and Wednesday in the media center/C100 during HERO and from 2-2:45. Monday’s support is for English and Social Studies and Wednesday is for Math and Science. 

GENERAL: 

Seniors ... the Senior Best votes have been tallied! The results have been emailed to your CMHS email account and will be posted in the Main Office lobby. Congratulations to all of the winners! Pictures will be tomorrow.

Seniors: Senior shirt order forms are available in Mr. Fitzgerald's classroom before or after school in room B202.  There are 2 shirt options and shirts are 10 dollars apiece.  

Warriors, don't forget to order your yearbook! Copies are only $55 and can be ordered in the main office or online. Online ordering information can be found on the order form.
